Soft Touch: A Gardener is taught to tend with care, and prune only when necessary. When making a melee attack, she may opt to deal subdual damage with no penalty. Additionally, when she prepares a damaging spell, she may choose to prepare it as a Soft Touch spell. Soft Touch spells replace all damage dealt with subdual damage in the same amount. Spells prepared this way retain all descriptors they otherwise would have.
Iduna’s Grace: Any [healing] spell cast by a Gardener restores hit points to its target equal to the caster’s Gardener level, in addition to its other effects.
Poultice: As a full-round action, a Gardener may construct a poultice from the herbs she stashes on her person, and apply it to an adjacent ally. If not applied immediately, the poultice spoils within 3 rounds. The Gardener chooses an effect from the following list when creating the poultice: Reduce the level of fatigue or fear of the subject by one step, remove paralysis, or end an ongoing poison or disease. Eliminating a poison or disease does not repair any ability damage those may have already dealt.
Apple-of-Youth Spell: When the Gardener casts a Cure spell, she may opt to have it grant temporary hit points rather than repair damage. These temporary hit points do not stack with any other temporary HP, or with themselves. They last 1 hour per Gardener level before dissipating.
